Timi Frank Claims Plot to Manipulate El-Rufai's Recordings

Timi Frank, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has alleged a conspiracy involving security agencies to doctor audio and visual recordings purportedly linked to former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai. Frank's claims, made in a statement on Friday, suggest that El-Rufai is under intense surveillance while in custody.

He alleges that conversations involving El-Rufai, his lawyer, and family members have been secretly recorded and that these recordings are being manipulated using artificial intelligence technology to frame El-Rufai and tarnish his reputation. Frank further asserts that the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) is collaborating with the Department of State Services (DSS) to review these recordings and select portions to distort and leak to the press.

This alleged manipulation is described as part of a broader agenda to damage El-Rufai's reputation and prolong his detention.
