APC Chieftain Raises Alarm Over El-Rufai's Health

Timi Frank, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed alarm over the health of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, claiming that a Russian doctor was brought in to examine him late Thursday night without the consent of his family. Frank questioned the necessity of a foreign doctor conducting a medical evaluation at such an unusual hour, especially since El-Rufai appeared healthy during a recent court appearance at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Allegations suggest that the doctor arrived around 9:45 PM to examine El-Rufai, who reportedly refused to undergo the medical examination. Frank called on northern leaders, youth, and civil society groups to demand El-Rufai's release from DSS custody, emphasizing that they should not remain silent about the situation.

El-Rufai was granted bail of N100 million by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, but he reportedly returned to DSS custody pending the fulfillment of bail conditions.
