APC Leaders Fear El-Rufai's Political Influence, Says Barde

Barde claims that El-Rufai's ongoing legal troubles are not purely judicial but rather politically motivated.

He argues that the APC is concerned about El-Rufai's potential emergence as a significant political figure under Tinubu's presidency. Barde further contends that the APC's actions to keep El-Rufai free from prosecution suggest a fear of his political power, contrasting this with the lack of similar legal actions against prominent opposition politicians like Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.

He insists that El-Rufai's situation is significant and reflects the apprehension within the APC regarding his influence in Nigerian politics.
