Tinubu Extends Surveyor-General's Term for Ongoing Reforms

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has approved a two-year extension for Surveyor-General Abuduganiyu Adebomehin, effective from January 5, 2026. The extension aims to ensure effective coordination within the Office of the Surveyor-General of the Federation (OSGOF) as part of ongoing reforms to strengthen its strategic role in national development planning.

Adebomehin, who was first appointed in 2022, has led initiatives to enhance geospatial data management and land administration across the country.
