Uzodimma: Tinubu Started Re-Election Campaign on May 29

Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commenced his re-election campaign on May 29, 2023, coinciding with his swearing-in. Speaking in Owerri, Uzodimma highlighted the significant decisions made by Tinubu, including the removal of fuel subsidies, which he believes will free resources for sub-national development.

He compared Nigeria's current situation to the biblical Exodus, suggesting that the people can learn from it. Uzodimma noted that Tinubu's administration has positively impacted over 13 million people through various social intervention programs, including school loans.

He urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to mobilize support for Tinubu's candidacy, emphasizing the importance of building a vision for leadership.
