Uzodimma Backs Tinubu's Re-election for 2027

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma expressed his confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in 2027, attributing this belief to the administration's bold economic reforms. Uzodimma made these statements during a state dinner held at the Government House in Owerri, following a three-day inspection of landmark federal and state projects.

He likened President Tinubu to Singapore's founding Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew, and emphasized that the Nigerian leader's decisive actions are necessary to overcome the country's economic challenges. Uzodimma acknowledged that while the reforms have initiated hardships, they have already produced positive results, particularly in increasing revenue for state infrastructure and human capital development.

He noted that the ongoing transformation in Imo State is a direct product of President Tinubu's "Renewed Hope" agenda. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Sundai Dare, commended Uzodimma for his remarks on the infrastructural transformation in Imo State.
