Uzodimma Compares Tinubu to Lee Kuan Yew, Predicts 2027 Win

During a dinner in Owerri, Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodimma praised President Bola Tinubu, likening him to Singapore's late leader Lee Kuan Yew. Uzodimma expressed confidence that Tinubu's bold economic reforms, initiated upon taking office on May 29, 2023, will address Nigeria's economic challenges and lead to a second term for Tinubu in 2027.

He emphasized that Tinubu's understanding of the need for immediate reform is crucial for Nigeria's development, drawing a biblical analogy to the Israelites' deliverance from bondage in Egypt. Uzodimma acknowledged that while reforms may cause initial hardship, they are already yielding positive results, particularly in increasing revenue for state infrastructure and human capital development.

He noted that the ongoing transformation in Imo State is a direct product of Tinubu's "Renew Hope" agenda, which aims to create an enabling environment for sustainable development across various sectors, including healthcare and technology.
