Tinubu Orders Striking Resident Doctors to End Nationwide Strike Immediately

Former Lagos State Governor, Tinubu, has instructed striking resident doctors in Nigeria to cease their indefinite nationwide strike. The directive came after a press briefing by Dr.

Iziq Salako, the Minister of State for Health, in Abuja. The strike, initiated by the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), was due to unmet demands and disputes over salary structures and appointments.

Despite ongoing negotiations and government approval for massive health sector recruitment, the strike persists, prompting Tinubu's intervention.
