Tosin Ashafa Celebrates Birthday with Donations in Lagos

Basheer Tosin Ashafa (BTA), an entrepreneur and politician, celebrated his birthday on August 14 by visiting the Lagos State Correctional Centre for Girls on August 16. During this visit, his team donated essential items, including deodorants, tissue, sanitary towels, cartons of Indomie noodles, and Coca-Cola soft drinks, following discussions with the facility's Principal, Mrs. Tobiloba, who identified the girls' immediate needs.

Approximately 45 girls reside at the facility. The team spent about 90 minutes interacting with the girls, encouraging them to focus on their futures and sharing in their academic successes, including those who had progressed to university.

The initiative aimed to provide practical support and demonstrate care for the girls' wellbeing. The team commended the commitment of Principal Mrs. Tobiloba, Mrs. Olowo, and other officials for their dedication to the girls' care and education.

The visit was framed as a meaningful way to celebrate Ashafa's birthday by giving back to the community.
