Toyota Launches 2026 GRMN Corolla with Enhanced Features

Toyota has introduced the 2026 GRMN Corolla, emphasizing its performance capabilities tailored for motorsport enthusiasts. The vehicle, developed under the guidance of Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda, known in racing as Morizo, showcases significant enhancements including a peak engine torque of 302 pound-feet and improved mid-range engine speed between 4,000 and 4,600 rpm for better acceleration.

The GRMN Corolla will be manufactured at Toyota's Motomachi plant in Japan and primarily marketed in North America, Japan, and Australia, with full specifications to be announced closer to its launch. Key upgrades include an intercooler spray system for consistent engine performance, aerodynamic improvements derived from racing programs, and a comprehensive suspension system revision.

The vehicle also features a weight reduction of approximately 66 pounds compared to the standard GR Corolla, reinforcing its track-focused character. Inside, the cockpit is redesigned for driver focus, featuring semi-bucket sport seats and unique GRMN branding.
