Transcorp Hotels Empowers Women with 16th Graduation

Transcorp Hotels, a subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, graduated its 16th cohort of the Business Empowerment Programme for Women (BEPW), which has empowered 64 young women since its establishment in 2016. The program focuses on providing tailored training in business, financial management, and customer service to strengthen women's skills and confidence, enabling them to build sustainable livelihoods and contribute to Nigeria's economic growth.

Upon completing the six-month program, participants receive sewing machines and relevant tools to kickstart their entrepreneurial journeys. Uzoamaka Oshogw, Managing Director and CEO of Transcorp Hotels, emphasized the company's commitment to creating long-term social and economic impacts through such initiatives.

The program also promotes sustainable practices by repurposing hotel items that would otherwise become waste. Transcorp Hotels continues to redefine hospitality standards in Africa while investing in the empowerment of women and supporting entrepreneurship.
