Griezmann to Join Orlando City SC for 2026-27 Season

Antoine Griezmann, the French forward currently playing for Atlético Madrid, has reached a verbal agreement to join Orlando City SC ahead of the 2026-27 Major League Soccer season. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Griezmann will remain with Atlético Madrid until the conclusion of the current campaign.

The 34-year-old's move to the American club is set to be completed as a free transfer in the summer of 2026. Previously, an attempt to finalize a transfer in March was rejected, but the current agreement is expected to be finalized in July.

Griezmann's recent performance included featuring in Atlético Madrid's 3-2 defeat against city rivals Real Madrid in a La Liga encounter on Sunday night. The announcement of his transfer marks the end of a long-standing spell with Atlético Madrid under the management of Diego Simeone.
