Chicharito Joins Atletico Dallas as First Signing

Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, a former striker for Real Madrid and Manchester United, has officially signed with USL Championship expansion club Atletico Dallas. The announcement was made on Monday, with Hernandez signing a two-year deal, marking him as the first player in the club's history.

Atletico Dallas confirmed this via a post on X, celebrating Hernandez's return to professional football. The 38-year-old is recognized as Mexico's all-time leading scorer, having netted 52 goals in 109 appearances for the national team.

Prior to joining Atletico Dallas, Hernandez played for Chivas in Mexico, where he departed from the club last November. His extensive career also includes stints at Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham.
