Troops Intercept Terrorist Logistics Suppliers in Borno

Troops from Sector 1 of the Operation Hadin Kai intercepted six suspected terrorist logistics suppliers in Borno State. The operation, led by Captain Moham Goni, involved a covert stop-and-search initiative that resulted in the arrest of the suspects traveling in five vehicles with a large consignment of materials believed to be destined for terrorist elements.

The recovered items included 202 cartons of herbicide, a Starlink wireless internet communication system, six bags of NPK fertilizer, ten bags of rice, fifty hoes, and twenty packs of knapsack sprayer pumps. Preliminary assessments indicated that these items could potentially support terrorist logistics and operations.

The NPK fertilizer and suspected acid will undergo further technical forensic examination to determine their intended use, including possible applications in fabricating improvised explosive devices. The military intelligence regiment will further investigate to identify intended recipients and dismantle a wider logistics network.

Preliminary debriefing of rescued hostages suggested that disrupting terrorist logistics significantly weakens the operational capabilities of the group.
