Troops Recover Supplies from ISWAP Logistics Suppliers

On July 15, at approximately 2:30 PM, troops from the 19 Battalion, under the 25 Brigade Garrison, conducted a routine patrol along Kauji Road in the Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State. During this operation, they intercepted two suspected logistics suppliers for the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) who fled into the bush upon sighting the patrol team.

The troops recovered several items left behind, including two bicycles, five cartons of energy drinks, one carton of milk, one carton of soft drinks, and two cartons of veterinary medicine, all found under a blue canopy. The recovered items were taken into custody as part of ongoing efforts to identify and apprehend the fleeing suspects.

This operation is part of the sustained efforts under Operation Hadin Kai to disrupt the logistics network of ISWAP and deny the group resources necessary to sustain their activities in Northeast Nigeria.
