Troops Arrest Five Terrorists' Logistics Suppliers in Borno

On July 20, 2023, at approximately 1:30 p.m., troops from Operation Hadin Kai arrested five individuals suspected of supplying logistics to terrorists in Mafa Local Government Area, Borno State. The operation, conducted by the 112 Task Force Battalion in collaboration with Hybrid Forces, intercepted the suspects transporting 491 cartons of Albe Stark 2.5 percent dewormer and 100 cartons of multivitamin injections for animals without proper documentation.

A search of their vehicles revealed additional concealed medical supplies, including 32 cartons of Diclofenac Sodium Injection, 58 cartons of Benzylpenicillin Sodium BP, 6 cartons of Dexamethasone Injection, and 51 cartons of Metronidazole Intravenous Infusion. The troops also recovered 30 units of 80-inch LG plasma televisions, 152 empty Bagco sacks, and seven mobile phones.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the supplies were destined for a vendor in N’Djamena, Chad Republic. The suspects are currently held by the 24 Task Force Brigade for further investigation, marking a significant achievement in disrupting terrorist logistics in the region.
