Soldiers Arrest Boko Haram Logistics Suppliers in Borno

Soldiers from the Joint Task Force North East, under Operation Hadin Kai, arrested several suspects linked to Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) logistics in Borno State. Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba disclosed that the operations aimed to counter terrorism across the northeast.

Among those arrested was Girema Aliko, 40, apprehended while attempting to transport 30 liters of premium motor spirit, which he confessed was meant for terrorist elements. Additionally, Moham Bulama, 25, was arrested in the Ngawom Muna Garag area of Maiduguri, with links to terrorist activities.

The military also apprehended a soldier, Umar Bema, 50, for alleged desertion and involvement in criminal activities. The operations resulted in the recovery of arms and ammunition, significantly disrupting the logistics network of terrorist groups.

The military reaffirmed its commitment to restoring peace and security in the region through sustained operations.
