UAE Bans Employment of Domestic Workers Under 18

The UAE has introduced Federal Decree Law No. 21 of 2023, which amends Federal Decree Law No. 9 of 2022 regarding the recruitment and employment of domestic workers. A key provision of this law is the prohibition of hiring anyone under the age of 18 as a domestic worker.
