UAE University Offers Comprehensive Benefits for Foreign Recruits

The United Arab Emirates University has published a detailed benefits package for employees recruited from abroad, which includes various support measures for the employee, their spouse, and up to three eligible children. Key benefits include air tickets from the employee's city of departure to the UAE on the first day of employment, with the class of ticket determined by the employee's grade and classification.

Employees can either allow the university to book tickets or arrange their own travel, with reimbursement options available. Teaching staff and employees on grade seven and above are entitled to a one-time relocation allowance of AED 2,000 upon starting employment.

The university will provide six nights of hotel accommodation with meals upon arrival, with the Secretary General having the authority to extend this period if necessary. The university also covers entry and residence visa fees, examination costs, and accommodation expenses incurred during the recruitment process, as well as the cost of renewing residence visas for employees and their dependants.
