UBA Board Approves 9-Month 2026 Unaudited Financial Results

United Bank for Africa Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited that its Board of Directors approved the Group's unaudited financial statements for the nine months ended 30 September 2026. The statements are yet to be published, pending the requisite approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

United Bank for Africa Plc filed a corporate action notice with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on 30 October 2026, confirming that its Board of Directors met on 29 October 2026 and approved the Group's unaudited financial statements for the nine months ended 30 September 2026.

According to the filing, the nine-month financial statements will be published alongside the Group's audited half-year financial statements. Both sets of results are subject to the requisite approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria before they can be released to the investing public.

The Bank also confirmed that its closed period, which was already in effect before this notice, will remain active until 24 hours after the financial statements are formally published. The closed period restricts certain categories of persons connected to the Bank from trading in its shares.

The notification was issued by Bili A. Odum, Group Company Secretary and Legal Counsel, on behalf of the Board. No financial figures were disclosed in this filing. The publication timeline depends on when the Central Bank of Nigeria grants its approval for the statements.
