UEFA Bans Two Clubs for Seven Years Over Match-Fixing Scandal

UEFA has imposed a seven-year ban on Latvian club FK Ventspils and Montenegrin club FK Arsen Tivat for multiple disciplinary breaches, including match-fixing and bribery. The bans come after investigations into incidents dating back to 2018 and 2023.

Club officials like Adlan Shishkanov and sport manager Nikolaj Djakin face sanctions. Players like Nikola Celeb, Cetko Manojlov Radul, and Dusan Palet also receive bans.

The bans are set to run until the end of the 2027/28 season for FK Ventspils and the 2031/32 season for FK Arsen Tivat.
