Corbyn Demands Relegation for Manchester City Over Breaches

United Kingdom Member of Parliament Jeremy Corbyn has called for Manchester City to be relegated from the Premier League if the club is found guilty of the financial breaches alleged against it. This call follows reports indicating that Manchester City was found guilty of 114 of the 115 financial charges after a four-year investigation and a 12-week hearing before an independent commission.

Although no official sanction has been announced, Corbyn argues that if the breaches are confirmed, a sporting punishment should be considered rather than just a financial penalty. He believes the allegations undermine the integrity of the Premier League.

Corbyn's stance aligns with comments made by former Manchester City chairman David Bernstein, who suggested that financial penalties alone would not suffice for a club with extensive financial resources.
