University of Abuja Appoints New Registrar and Librarian

The University of Abuja has appointed Olanrewaju Tejuoso as the new registrar and Rose Lade Mommoh as the new librarian, with their appointments taking effect on July 9, 2026. This decision was made during the 101st council meeting chaired by the Pro-Chancellor.

Tejuoso, who previously served as the Deputy Registrar, has 17 years of experience at the university, holding various strategic roles, including overseeing academic affairs and managing committees related to admissions and curriculum standards. He holds degrees in business administration.

Rose Lade Mommoh, who joined the university in 1999, has served as the Deputy University Librarian and has 25 years of experience in librarianship. She holds a PhD in Information Science and has published extensively in her field.

Both appointees are expected to strengthen the university's administration and library services, contributing to its strategic vision for excellence in teaching, learning, and research.
