Professor Hassan Saliu Becomes Interim President of NSIA

Professor Hassan Saliu, a renowned political scientist from the University of Ilorin, has been appointed as the interim president of the Nigerian Society of International Affairs (NSIA). His emergence was confirmed during a consultative session held on Wednesday, which aimed to revitalize the association's leadership.

Professor Saliu is the immediate past president of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA). The session also included a mandate for Professors Victor Adetula and Murtala Muhammad to co-opt two female scholars to ensure broader representation and gender balance within the interim leadership of NSIA.

This initiative reflects a commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the association's governance.
