Unilorin Honors Key Figures in Mass Communication Department

The University of Ilorin recognized the contributions of Chief Raheem Adedoyin, Dr. Mahmud Abdulraheem, and Prof.

Adesina Lukman Azeez during an award ceremony aimed at celebrating their impact on the Mass Communication Department. Prof.

Saudat Abdulbaqi, the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences, described the recognition as deserved due to their significant investments in the department's development. Prof.

Azeez is noted as the first professor in the Mass Communication Department, while Chief Adedoyin served as the former head of the department. Dr.

Abdulraheem has also been a pivotal member of the white paper committee established for the department. The event commemorated the department's growth over 21 years, emphasizing the solid foundation laid by these individuals.
