Police Arrest Fake Agency DG Adeniyi Adeyemi in Osun

Adeniyi Adeyemi was arrested by the Nigeria Police Force in Osun State on Tuesday after a bench warrant was issued by the Federal High Court in Abuja. Adeyemi claimed to be the Director General of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council.

His apprehension was confirmed by DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, the spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command. The arrest was executed by the Osun State Intelligence Response Team (IRT) shortly after the court order was issued.

The IRT had been deployed to detect Adeyemi's hideout, leading to his capture. Following his arrest, arrangements were made to transfer him to the Federal Capital Territory for further investigation and legal procedures.
