Uzoho to Start for Super Eagles Against Jordan in Friendly

Francis Uzoho, currently the second-choice goalkeeper for Nigeria, is poised to start for the Super Eagles in an international friendly against Jordan. Coach Richelle is expected to rotate the squad for this match, scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 PM Nigerian time in Antalya, Turkey.

Uzoho will take the place of Maduka Okoye, who is ruled out due to a thigh injury sustained during training. Uzoho, who plays for Omonia Nicosia and has made 27 appearances for Nigeria, has earned 36 caps and is a three-time African champion.

Defensive changes are anticipated, with Semi Ajayi from Hull City FC and Bruno Onyemaechi leaving camp for personal matters, while Zaidu Sanusi from FC Porto is expected to slot in at left back.
