Uzoho to Replace Injured Okoye for Super Eagles vs Jordan

Franci Uzoho, the goalkeeper for Omonia Nicosia, is set to step in for the injured Maduka Okoye in the Super Eagles' lineup for their international friendly match against Jordan. The match is scheduled to take place at Corendon Airlines Park in Antalya on Tuesday.

Reliable sources from the Super Eagles' camp confirmed that Uzoho will replace Okoye, who sustained a thigh injury during training. This injury has already ruled Okoye out of the encounter, as he is part of the squad preparing for the upcoming World Cup.

Uzoho, who is 27 years old, has made 36 competitive appearances for the Super Eagles and is regarded as the second-choice goalkeeper for the team, which has won the Africa Cup of Nations three times.
