Priscilla clarified on Instagram that she never made such statements and challenged anyone to provide proof. She emphasized that postpartum depression is a serious mental health condition that can affect women regardless of their financial situation.

Priscilla highlighted the need for medical and emotional support for women experiencing postpartum depression. Iyabo Ojo had welcomed her first child in 2025 and had previously shared her experience of receiving strong family support during childbirth, stating that postpartum depression is not fake and is not caused by a lack of money.
