Pastor Ibiyeomie Condemns Internet Fraud in Church

During a church service, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries, warned his congregation against engaging in internet fraud, commonly referred to as "Yahoo Yahoo." He stated that individuals involved in such activities are present in churches and questioned their ability to worship God while defrauding others. Ibiyeomie characterized Yahoo Yahoo as theft, regardless of any justifications, and urged anyone involved to cease their actions.

He recounted a tragic incident involving a professor from Rivers State University who lost all his savings to internet fraudsters, which he claimed led to the professor's death. Ibiyeomie emphasized the severe human cost of internet fraud, particularly when it targets individuals' life savings and retirement funds.

He advised church members to avoid associating with fraudsters and issued a strong warning to anyone in his congregation involved in Yahoo Yahoo, stating they should worship elsewhere and not contribute offerings in his church.
