44 Victims Rescued from Bandits Arrive Oyo Governor's Office

On Friday, 44 victims who were previously held captive by bandits arrived at the Oyo governor’s office located at the Agodi Secretariat in Ibadan. The rescue operation was conducted by the Nigerian Army and followed a tragic incident on May 15, where a teacher and an okada rider were killed during an attack.

The victims were transported to Ibadan for mandatory medical and psychological evaluations, which are to be conducted within 48 hours. The governor has expressed his commitment to the well-being of the victims and their families, ensuring that they receive the necessary support following their ordeal.
