Ahmed Musa Donates N2 Million to Flying Eagles for WAFU B

Ahmed Musa, the former captain of the Super Eagles, has gifted N2 million to the Nigeria U20 National Team, known as the Flying Eagles, to support their preparations for the WAFU B U20 Championship scheduled to take place in Côte d'Ivoire from July 26 to August 9, 2026. Musa, who has earned 111 caps for Nigeria and scored four goals in two FIFA World Cup appearances in 2014 and 2018, presented the cash gift to Alhaji Abubakar, the team's coordinator.

Abubakar, a former Nigerian captain, urged the players to focus on the upcoming tournament, emphasizing that the top teams from the WAFU B zone will qualify for next year's Africa U20 Cup of Nations. Simon Habila, the captain of the Flying Eagles, expressed gratitude for Musa's gesture and assured that the team would work hard to make Nigeria proud.
