Waje and Shoday Release "My Sunshine" for Funke Akindele's Film

Waje and Shoday have collaborated on "My Sunshine," an original song featured in the soundtrack of Funke Akindele's upcoming film, "The Four," set to premiere in cinemas on December 11, 2026. In the film, Waje portrays Esosa, the mother of Obaloluwa, played by Shoday.

Their relationship is pivotal to the narrative, which explores the lengths a mother will go for her child. The song embodies this theme, celebrating the love, sacrifice, and determination inherent in a mother's promise to support her child. "My Sunshine" is available on all streaming platforms, with its official music video on FAAN_TV's YouTube channel.

The film, which also stars notable actors such as Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, and Richard Mofe-Damijo, focuses on themes of motherhood and female strength, encapsulated in the message "no one fights alone." Directed and produced by Funke Akindele, "The Four" is a production of Funke Akindele Network and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment.
