Mose Itauma Predicted to Become Boxing Great by Warren

Francis Warren, a prominent boxing promoter, has expressed his belief that British-Nigerian heavyweight sensation Mose Itauma will become one of the greats in sports, likening him to icons such as Lionel Messi, Michael Jordan, and Tiger Woods. At just 21 years old, Itauma is preparing for a significant step towards a world title shot.

Warren, who manages Itauma's career alongside his father, Frank Warren, noted that Itauma's rise has garnered attention not seen since Anthony Joshua's Olympic gold win in 2012. Itauma, who moved to England in 2008, has an unbeaten amateur record of 24 wins, including 11 knockouts.

He turned professional in January 2023 and has achieved 13 consecutive victories, with 11 by knockout. His next fight is against American Jermain Franklin on March 28, and Warren anticipates that Itauma could contend for a world title by the end of 2026.

Itauma is currently ranked as the WBO's number one interim contender.
