The WBO ‘Peace Fight’ is set to headline at Balmor Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, on May 1, featuring a cruiserweight title bout between Ezra Arenyeka (15 wins, 2 losses, 12 KOs) and Goddai Appah (14 wins, 2 losses, 13 KOs). The event, promoted by Balmor Group and supported by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control, aims to address community tensions in the Niger Delta through sports.

CEO Ezekiel Adamu emphasized the fight's message of peace and unity, asserting that the event will contribute positively to the community by providing scholarships to students. Dr. Rafiu Ladipo, president of the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control, assured that strict safety protocols will be enforced, including medical tests for all fighters.
