PFL Africa to Host Historic MMA Event in Lagos, Nigeria

PFL Africa is set to make its debut in Nigeria with the largest MMA event in West African history on June 13, 2026, at the Eko Convention Center in Lagos. This historic event will feature an open round bantamweight and lightweight tournament, showcasing top regional talent.

The main event will highlight Nigerian fighter Wasi Adeshina, known as the "Nigerian Jaguar," who holds a record of 10 wins and 3 losses, competing against Spanish fighter Ignacio Nacho Campo, who has a record of 7 wins and 2 losses. Adeshina aims to deliver a strong performance in front of a home crowd, while Campo comes off a significant victory against Mathi Duragrin in PFL Madrid last month.

The co-main event will feature a lightweight first-round tournament bout between Nigeria's Patrick "Star Boi" Ochem (8-1) and Cameroon’s Octav "Bantu Warrior" Ayinda (7-1). Elia Schulz, General Manager of PFL Africa, emphasized the event's cultural significance and the opportunity to showcase local talent on a global platform.
