Osun APC Predicts Adeleke's Defeat in 2026 Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, represented by Bola Oyebamiji, has expressed confidence that current Governor Ademola Adeleke will not secure re-election in the gubernatorial poll scheduled for August 15, 2026. During the inauguration of the APC campaign committee in Osogbo, Oyebamiji highlighted perceived failures of Adeleke's administration, including allegations of incompetence and mismanagement of state resources over the past three and a half years.

He criticized the lack of educational infrastructure, healthcare services, and agricultural support, stating that citizens are suffering due to the current government's actions. Oyebamiji urged committee members to work diligently to ensure the APC's victory, emphasizing their expertise in unseating sitting governors.

In response, Oladel Bamiji, the deputy spokesperson for the Osun State governor, dismissed these claims, asserting that Adeleke's administration is focused on improving the welfare of citizens and will successfully win the election.
