Sokoto Police Engage Political Leaders Ahead of Elections

On September 9, 2026, the Sokoto State command of the Nigeria Police Force, under the leadership of Commissioner Hayatu Shaffa, held meetings with political party chairmen and elected local government chairmen at the Command headquarters. The discussions aimed to enhance cooperation between security agencies and political actors ahead of the upcoming elections.
