Igboho Vows Continued Fight Against Crime in South West

Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho and founder of Iru Ekun Security Network, declared that efforts to combat criminal elements in South West Nigeria will persist. He attributed the recent decline in kidnapping, banditry, and other violent crimes to the tactical support from the Police, Nigerian Army, and Department of State Service (DSS).

This announcement was made during the launch of Iru Ekun in Akure, Ondo. Igboho stressed that security is a collective responsibility and urged the community to restore confidence in the government's ability to provide a safe environment for socioeconomic development.

He noted that the activities of rogue herders and bandits have decreased since the operations of Iru Ekun began. Igboho advised volunteers to report criminal activities to relevant security agencies before taking action and warned them of the dangers posed by armed bandits.

He reaffirmed the commitment to ensuring safety in the South West and supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration in enhancing security.
