APC's Olusola Adeyeye Confident of 2027 Victory in South-West

Olusola Adeyeye, a former senator representing Osun Central and the South-West Coordinator of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is poised for a decisive victory in the South-West ahead of the 2027 presidential election. During an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Adeyeye warned political parties against underestimating the upcoming election, asserting that internal divisions could jeopardize their chances.

He expressed confidence that the APC would maintain its dominance in the region, stating, “We will win big.” Adeyeye also noted that President Bola Tinubu would not lose the South-West, although he referenced former President Olusegun Obasanjo's past electoral success despite losing in his region. Furthermore, Adeyeye expressed optimism about the APC reclaiming Osun State, attributing the current popularity of Governor Ademola Adeleke to his family name rather than personal merit.

His comments followed a declaration by APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda that the party is prepared for the 2027 elections after a thorough review of its structures.
