Byuan Clarifies Support for Tinubu at PDP Meeting

Dr. Mathia Byuan, the Executive Director of the House of Finance Account, clarified his attendance at a People's Democratic Party (PDP) meeting, which took place on a Sunday.

His presence was linked to a gathering organized by a pro-Tinubu group that aimed to drum up support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's second-term bid. Byuan stated that he attended to identify and mobilize genuine support for Tinubu's re-election in 2027, emphasizing that his involvement should not be misconstrued.

He highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships and promoting the policies and vision of Tinubu's administration. Byuan also mentioned that he remains open to engaging with various political organizations to support the development agenda of the Tinubu administration and to mobilize support for the president's re-election campaign.
