Oba Femi Shifts from Athletics to WWE Stardom

Oba Femi, also known as Isaac Odugbesan, is a former shot putter who has transitioned to professional wrestling with WWE. He gained attention earlier this month after defeating WWE veteran Brock Lesnar in a five-minute match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, where he showcased his skills with a chokeslam finish move.

At 28 years old, Oba Femi has a rich athletic background, having previously competed in the Universiade and winning individual honors in athletics. He relocated to the United States in 2017 to pursue his career and continued to compete in track and field, claiming titles in indoor and outdoor championships.

In 2021, he joined WWE's recruitment program and signed with the company on December 8. Oba Femi expressed his aspirations to win an Olympic medal and achieve success in wrestling, highlighting his dedication to both sports.
