Tinubu Extends Surveyor-General's Tenure for Two Years

President Tinubu has extended the tenure of the Surveyor-General of the Federation, Adebomehin, for two years to ensure the completion of critical sector reforms in geospatial data systems. This decision, approved by President Buhari, comes after the recent transfer of office within the Surveyor-General of the Federation.

Tinubu's move follows the appointment of Dr. Doro as a minister in Plateau State and the confirmation of key positions within the APC.

The extension is set to take effect from January 5, 2026.
