Nasarawa Agency Explains Removal of Political Billboards

The Nasarawa State Urban Development Agency, under the management of Engr Wada Moham Yahaya, has explained the removal of political campaign billboards as a necessary enforcement of agency regulations. A letter was sent to political parties informing them of the requirement to obtain approval before installing advertisements.

The removal exercise is not aimed at any specific individual or political party but affects all aspirants. This decision has raised concerns among political groups, particularly from Ex IGP Moham Adamu, who chairs a group that has accused the state government of deliberately targeting campaign materials.

Hon Isa Nathaniel has called on the national leadership of the APC to intervene, stating that such actions threaten the party's success in the upcoming 2027 elections.
