Nyesom Wike Approves Promotion Exams for Over 8,000 FCTA Workers

Governor Nyesom Wike has authorized promotion exams for more than 8,000 Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) workers to address promotion arrears from 2023-2025. The exams, in computer-based test format, will run for five days and aim to clear the backlog.

The FCT Civil Service Commission confirmed the exams, which follow the approval of the FCT Minister. Wike's commitment to embracing digital approaches to promotions is highlighted in this initiative.
