Wike's PDP Faction Issues Certificates to Adamawa Candidates

On a significant day for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa, Nyesom Wike presented certificates of return to 25 candidates for the state House of Assembly. This event, which took place today, was declared by Engr.

Belmond Dogo, the faction's state chairman, as a pivotal moment that signifies the end of divisions within the party in Adamawa. Dogo urged the candidates to intensify grassroots mobilization as the elections approach.

He noted that the certificates were issued in accordance with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regulations, confirming the legitimacy of the candidates. Despite this development, the leadership crisis within the PDP remains unresolved, with rival factions, including one led by Sanimu Turaki, claiming legitimacy over the party's structure in the state.

The PDP previously achieved significant electoral success, winning 226 wards and 21 local government councils, which Dogo attributed to hard work and dedication.
