Woman Found Dead in Boyfriend's Apartment in Delta

On June 24, 2026, a woman was discovered dead in her boyfriend's apartment located on Ajidi Street in Edjeba Community, Warri, Delta State. Reports indicate that the deceased had been visiting the suspect, with whom she allegedly lived together for several days.

Neighbors noted that the woman had been seen moving freely around the neighborhood the day before her death and appeared normal. However, in the early hours of Wednesday, unusual screams were heard coming from the suspect's apartment, prompting the landlord to alert security operatives.

Upon arrival, police discovered the lifeless body of the woman inside the suspect's room. The suspect was subsequently arrested by the Delta State Police Command and taken into custody, while the body was evacuated to the mortuary for further examination and possible autopsy.
