Woman Found Dead in Church Toilet in Calabar

Peac Minka Ayeb was reported missing after attending a service at the Presbyterian Church Ikot Ansa Parish on June 28, 2023. Her lifeless body was discovered in the church toilet around 9 PM on June 29, 2023.

Following the incident, her family informed the Federal Housing Police Station, and her brother, Saviour Ayeb, was notified. The body was subsequently deposited at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

ASP Eitokpah Sundai Akata confirmed the incident, stating that preliminary examinations of the body showed no visible signs of violence. As of now, no suspects have been identified or arrested, and investigations are ongoing to establish evidence of foul play.
