Minister Declares Era of Limitless Possibilities for Women

Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, declared that Nigeria has entered an era of limitless possibilities for women during a courtesy visit from Chief Mrs. Olufunmilola Mutiat Disu, the National President of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), in Abuja.

The Minister emphasized the Federal Government's commitment to enhancing the economic power of women, expanding social protection, and strengthening family systems under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. She described the Ministry as inclusive and dedicated to empowering all women, regardless of their background.

Sulaiman-Ibrahim praised POWA's impactful initiatives, particularly the POWA CARES Initiative, which supports police families in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. She called for stronger collaboration between the Ministry and POWA to achieve measurable outcomes for women and families in police communities.

The Minister reiterated President Tinubu's commitment to women's economic empowerment, recalling the First Lady's directive to prioritize financial resources for women.
