Yinka Quadri Remembers Ogogo's Last Words in Tribute

Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri recalled his last visit with his longtime friend and colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who passed away recently. In a tribute shared on social media, Quadri described how he was overcome with emotion upon seeing Ogogo in the hospital.

During this visit, Ogogo reassured him, saying, “Yinka, don’t cry. Nothing bad will happen to me,” to which Quadri responded, “Yes, Amen.” Reflecting on their friendship, which began in 1984, Quadri noted that despite attempts by others to create distance between them, their bond remained strong, and they never publicly addressed rumors of conflict.

He expressed gratitude that Ogogo did not endure a prolonged illness that would have burdened his loved ones financially. Quadri emphasized that Ogogo's death left an irreplaceable void, but he would cherish the memories they shared, including laughter, disagreements, and their time spent together in the film industry.
